UFO Crash Retrieval Manual
The 1954 Special Operations Manual that details recovery operation procedures (ie. press blackout, secure the area, removal, transport, cleansing the area and encountering extraterrestrial biological entities).

Hottel Memo dated 22nd March, 1950
The memo from the FBI’s Washington Field Office to the FBI Director that reported on an alleged UFO recovery effort in New Mexico. It stated that, “They [the ET craft] were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only three feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed fliers and test pilots.”

CIA Letter Declassified on 24th January, 1975
This internal letter form the Assistant Director of Scientific Intelligence to the Director of Central Intelligence stated, “Sightings of unexplained objects at great altitude and traveling at high speeds in the vicinity of major U.S. defense installations are of such nature that they are not attributed to natural phenomena or known types of aerial vehicles.”

CIA Memo ER-3-2809
This 1952 document from CIA director Walter B. Smith to the Director of the Psychological Strategy Board, titled Flying Saucers, revealed: “I am today transmitting to the National Security Council a proposal in which it is concluded that the problems connected with unidentified flying objects appear to have implications for psychological warfare as well as for intelligence and operations. I suggest that we discuss at an early board meeting the possible offensive or defensive utilization of these phenomena for psychological warfare purposes.”

FBI Memo dated 29th July, 1952
An internal memo from V. P. Keay, (FBI, Assistant to Director J. Edgar Hoover, head of FBI) to
Mr. A H. Belmont (also FBI, Assistant to Director J. Edgar Hoover, head of FBI) stated, “…it is not entirely impossible that the objects sighted may possibly be ships from another plant…at the present time there is nothing to substantiate this theory but the possibility is not being overlooked.”

Project Sign Report
The official U.S. government study of unidentified flying objects undertaken by the United States Air Force. Its final report, published in 1949, had concluded that “no definite and conclusive evidence is yet available that would prove or disprove the existence of these unidentified objects.”

U.S. Air Force Letter No. 200-5
This intelligence letter sets out the responsibility and reporting procedures for information and materials pertaining to unidentified flying objects.

U.S. Air Force Regulation No. 200-2
This regulation establishes the U.S. Air Force’s program for investigating and analyzing UFOs over the United States.

U.S. Air Force Regulation No. 80-17
This regulation makes reference to, and supersedes, Regulation No. 200-2. This revised regulation updates the U.S. Air Force’s program for investigating and analyzing UFOs over the United States.

Bolender Memo dated 20th October, 1969
A memo from the USAF Deputy Director of Research and Development that recommended that Project Blue Book be terminated.

Air Intelligence Report No. 100-203-70 – Analysis of Flying Object Incidents in the U.S.
The 1948 report concluded that, “it must be accepted that some type of flying objects have been observed, although their identification and origin are not discernible. In the interest of nation defense it would be unwise to overlook the possibility that some of these objects may be of foreign origin.”
